Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata), also called rose milkweed, is a native milkweed species commonly found in wet areas. It boasts vanilla-scented pink flowers and is a crucial host for Monarch caterpillars. The seed pods are striking and provide fall interest in the garden. Swamp does not have the aggressive spreading tendencies of common milkweed.
