White Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a beautiful and hardy plant for the home garden. It has lovely displays of feathery leaves with large white flower umbels that attract beneficial insects. The leaves and flowers have also traditionally been used medicinally. It will thrive in most sunny garden settings but is a specialist for dry, poor soils. It will grow in straight gravel and thrive. When not flowering it is a lovely ground cover.
